Trina & the Tramp

We had a blast at this year's Media Night Coffee House, and raised money to help Feet First, a charitable organization that keeps good shoes on area kids. Ribbing and riffing with Troy Burns from Behan Communications, Bob Dillon from Ad Workshop and Maury Thompson from the Post Star was fun. As always, it was great to see Cathy DeDe from the Chronicle. Here's hoping that she'll be gentle with any reviews.

Ray Agnew wailed out an old Hollies number—as good as it was, it turned out he was just warming up the crowd for his son, Zane, whose rendition of Crazy Train brought the house down.

John Coleman from the Post Star marshaled a few friends for a little Neil Young, and a great version of The Weight.

We were happy to see a few Trampoline clients in the crowd. In fact Amanda, our videographer, has our performance neatly book-ended between the shoulders of Beth Povie from Finch Paper, and the aforementioned Ray Agnew from the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation. Special thanks to Kevin Quandt and family for coming out to support us.

Over here from Amanda's blog.

Golly, I love a good indie show. I wish I'd been in the area . . .

The cause is the thing, and I imagine there are a few more grateful people today because of all your efforts.

Indeed, you guys do rock!

Now, where's the video . . . ?

I agree, nice job! You guys really adhered to the "coffeehouse" aspect of the event, we went with more the "battle of the bands" route. haha. It was a fun night though and thanks for the link, my friends are eating the video up.

Oh, and I know Seoul, Korea a little bit, looks like I'll be learning a lot more soon! ha.

Well done, Magee. Your voice hasn't changed since Show Choir, and it was fabulous then too.

Hey, bagpipes and snares aren't exactly Coffeehouse fare, but I think it worked.

You guys did a great job!

My daughter is teaching herself Thunderstruck and Hey Jude on the pipes. Interesting combo. Look out 2010 Media Night! LOL!

There is a special place in my heart for men who play the guitar. Throw in the singing and fugetaboutit.

Trina has a beautiful voice, too. Nice work.

A fun evening...and now my son thinks he is a star 'cause he's on YouTube. Thanks, Tramps -- both for sharing your talent and helping us raise the dough, and for always going above and beyond -- like posting videos, always being involved and positive, and showing us all what it means to do what Jacob Marley tried to teach....you've made Mankind your business. ...Ray
