Sep-html-ber

Our e-trigger has been pretty happy lately, with HTML emails going out for everyone from Tribune and The Copperfield Inn to a ghoulish little number we sucked out for ourselves.

If you have something to say, say it with all the tricks and treats you have available, because if you don't, someone else will.

Current Events

The Fund for Lake George has put a simple statement out there to the public: Save the Streams, Save the Lake. Over half of the water in Lake George comes from streams. Streams that wind their way through clear cut construction sites, past overdeveloped parking lots and under streets crusted with salt.

The Fund and the Waterkeeper are urging the Lake George Park Commission to definitively establish a buffer zone to keep Lake George safe from pollution. While Peter Bauer, Chris Navitsky and Co. have stated that they are not anti-development, just anti-pollution, their campaign to elevate awareness of the stream buffer issue has been met with resistance from property owners in the watershed.

We'll see what the Park Commission decides. Until then, the advertorials below and the e-newsletter above should demonstrate what side of the issue we come down on.

Don't runoff without learning more. Give the Fund's Stormwater video a look. It's up on YouTube.

Check out the guy at 3 o'clock

You've been waiting for this.
The sitter is lined up.
You've got the dress (or suit).
You are ready to seriously tear it up.

And then you see him (or her). The one person that can ruin it all,
maybe it's an ex, maybe it's just a creep, either way, your perfect night
seems in danger of being slimed.

Tribune Media Services recently requested an invite that would scream:

"You know that guy?

He won't be at our party.

Did you get an invitation?

No?

Oooh.

Still 2.0

Sometimes an idea is still great a year later.

This year The Sagamore elected to go with an HTML email for their holiday mailer. We kept true to the idea of still as it does capture the essence of winter in the Adirondacks– calm, timeless, still.

Arriving on the Red Carpet

Next up for Tribune Media Services: A redesign of the website dedicated to their A-List suite of products. Named and designed by the team at Trampoline, the A-List materials cater to the Cable/Satellite/TelCo segment of the Tribune audience. A-Listers include companies like Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, DirecTV, and Comcast. Rest assured, they all have a shirt.

After the site goes live, we'll be developing materials for a Post-New Year's bash at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Check back for some after-launch linkage.

In-box: SaraBear Baskets

Raeanne capped the week off with a beautifully designed html email for SaraBear Baskets. The crew here at Trampoline was doubly pumped because the email blast was to alert boutique buyers that their Sarabear orders would now be shipping in new boxes, recently designed by Derek. Special thanks to Amanda for the writing (and the work).

If you want to find the message in your inbox, or learn the latest about Sarabear products click here to register. For more about the baskets, how they help new moms and what all the buzz is about, visit the SaraBear Baskets Web site.

Giving Online Sales a KABOOST™

Amir Levin, a Manhattan based entrepreneur/inventor developed KABOOST, a child's booster seat alternative, after spending some time with a group of kiddos at the dinner table.

KABOOST’s spring-loaded arms grip chair legs into place and elevate the chair so children can sit at the table just like adults.

The design was based on the premise that children want to be just like mom and dad and their older brothers and sisters. They reach a point where they no longer want to sit in a high chair or booster seat for babies anymore. We're told many children would rather sit on their knees and eat rather than use a booster seat.

Amir asked us to design an html email to send out to his loyal customers, scheduled to hit just before Thanksgiving. This year, scrap the kid's table concept and put a KABOOST under their chairs. Visit kaboost.com for specs, information and ordering. Now, will someone pass the mashed potatoes?
